Ah well.
I've also added a picture of the progressing "Vacu-formed Subterranean Fort" project.

I finally stopped trying to make the ht:/Dig + Perl script system work for keeping track of recently updated pages on the site; instead I spent an hour taking bits and pieces from other PHP pages I've written and putting them together as the Recent Updates page. (It's in the sidebar of the "about" section).

No, this has nothing to do with soapy hardwood, it's all about keeping virus crud out of your apache log files!
Read about the setup at MacOSXhints.com
That way, when some Microsoft IIS server is trying to infect my linux box with Code Red (ha ha, won't work) it won't artificially inflate my site statistics, and my log files will stay nice and clean. Mostly. yay!

Work is under way on the secret Subterranean fort -- see the progress on the Hobby Table. So far there are only a few drawings and a snapshot of the wood form I'm building in order to vacuum form the plastic.
I also photographed Iris' new cat bed (she loves it), and some lightbulbs, napkins, and phone books today. Who says my life lacks excitement?
