So I was signing up for a Google Web API license key when I noticed something called "Adsense" -- sign up and display ads provided by Google. Simple. Not too intrusive. Horizontal or Vertical.
Long story short, most pages with text have a horizontal ad at the top. Click on it and I'll make a few pennies. Really truly hate it? Let me know. It's an experiment. I like that the ads are provided based on the content of the page.
I'm also messing about with CSS-based design for the site, and it's fun! It's also a bit hairy. More on that later.

Last night, while I worked on javascript CSS-switching code for the web site, Greta made some bread. It was a little heavy and funny looking when it came out of the oven, but it tasted wonderful!
As a consequence, I can't post a picture of the bread in its original state. But take it from me, the strangely white crust was nice and crunchy the way a baguette should be, and a quick swipe of butter across the top was all it took to lead me into severe over-indulgence.
This was the first time she'd baked in a couple of years, so our hopes weren't too high, but it came out very well.
