Refrigerator

The 2001 Sof'Boy calendar was up here until well into 2002.

I'm not a fan of things on the outside of the refrigerator, in general, but there are a few items that belong here like nothing else - in particular, calendars and greeting cards.

The Oven Mitt is another standard item for refrigerator doors, in my estimation.

The food in the refrigerator has been a particularly difficult issue for me while building this site. I could spend a couple hours a day documenting the food I've added or removed from the refrigerator (no, thanks), figure out some way to monitor the food in the refrigerator (bar codes? cue-cat? Seems beyond my abilities), or maybe find some way to link the Peapod grocery service to my site, so my purchases would always show up (that's kind of appealing...). But I noticed that I almost always buy exactly the same thing at the store -- the same butter, the same ice cream, the same bread or apples, or orange-juice -- so as long as I don't change my diet too often I won't have to radically alter this part of the web site. Problem solved.

Side Note: My maternal grandfather had a degree from MIT in refrigeration.
