Banjo Mandolin

This is a rude instrument, but it's grown on me. My brother Will found it in California, and held on to it for a couple of months until I visited. At first I thought he'd been really ripped off. The sound is raunchy, and when I first played it the rusty strings made it sound completely drunk, but with a new set of strings and the right music it's perfect. Loud as hell, it's useful for keeping up with the banjo player. Not for the dainty, though.
