Roycrofter Lamp

My maternal great-grandmother's mother was a "follower" of Elbert Hubbard, the founder of the Roycrofters, and an early proponent of the style that became known as Mission style design. I think. I'll have to read up on this a bit more.

What I do know is that this lamp was in our family study throughout my childhood, with an index card taped to the bottom which mentioned my gr.gr.grandmother, and Elbert Hubbard, who was on the Lusitania when it sank.

This lamp is in need of repairs. The last repair I had made didn't last long. Nonetheless, it's better off sitting on a small table in the living room than it would be waiting around in a box down in the basement.
