Bookshelf

This bookshelf is about four feet tall - it's half of a unit I got at IKEA. There are six books on top:

All are Taschen books

Alchemy bookcover

Alchemy & Mysticism The Hermetic Museum, by Alexander Roob.

Anatomica bookcover

Encyclopaedia Anatomica, Museuo La Specola Florence.

Egypt bookcover

Description de l'Egypte.

Design bookcover

Design of the 20th Century, Charlotte & Peter Fiel.

1000 Tin Toys, by Teruhis Kitahara and Yukio Shimizu (out of print?).

Alfred Stieglitz Camera Work, The Complete Illustrations 1902-1917.(out of print?)

Egg CamOf course, the bookshelf has a flat top, so there's a rotating selection of stuff that accumulates here; right now there's an egg cam, one of the best video devices I've ever had connected to a computer. It requires RCA connections to a real video capture card (one that works like a TV tuner), so I can't use it with my OS X computer at this point. I'm hoping to hook it up to the Silicon Graphics O2 workstation that's floating around, but I'll have to re-install IRIX before it'll do anything.

5x7" print "memes"

Me and my Dad at Lake Ontario, 1968.
