I've always got something sitting on top of this. Sometimes it's Iris, my cat, but usually it's some part of my collection, like this steam engine. There's also a Rubbing Stick that John from 13 labs sent me.

Each of the smaller drawers is labled, a holdover from my days before filing cabinets. Used to be I could keep all my papers regarding "Car Insurance" in one of the shallow drawers, but now I keep the various accretions of pocket junk in there.
